Fake Tank Louis Cartier uses an Art Deco style “scalloped” dial, imitating the style of Les Must de Cartier Tank in the 1980s, combining an 18k gold case with an internal 1917 MC manual winding movement.
The size of the new model is actually the same as the historical “large” Tank LC. This means a case measuring 33.7 mm x 25.5 mm and 6.60 mm high.
According to modern standards, it is relatively small, but its size can be used as a formal watch under the cuffs, even though it looks incompatible with casual wear.
The Art Deco style dial is simple but eye-catching, attractive in design and color. The new Cartier Tank LC Replica comes in two styles-yellow gold with burgundy and silver dials, or rose gold with blue and gray dials.
Despite the different colors, both watches have the same dial finish. It is a metal base with a radially brushed finish, with hour and minute tracks printed on it. Although the metal base is reflective, the printed part is matte and slightly raised, giving the dial more texture.
Inside is the 1917 MC, a small internal movement originally developed for ladies’ replica watches. It is only 2.9 mm tall and, due to its size, has a short power reserve of 38 hours. The same caliber was also found in last year’s Tank Asymetrique.
